More about Joel Lamoure
Professor Joel Lamoure is currently the Canadian Section Chief for UNESCO Medical Bioethics and an instructor with National Defense and has served as a Director of CPD and Academic Associate Professor in the Departments of Psychiatry and Continuing Professional Development at Western University. He is an Associate Scientist at Lawson Research Institute and Inspector/Surveyor with Accreditation Canada.
Joel has been a staff Medical-Surgical Critical Care and Mental Health Care pharmacist at London Health Sciences Centre and is currently the Director of EIM-CARE, Evidence Informed Medicine-Clinically Advanced Reviews in London, Ontario. (www.eim-care.org)
Professor Lamoure has won the Western USC Teaching Roll of Honour Award of Excellence in Medicine over a half dozen times and other teaching honours from Western University and the University of Toronto.
Joel’s current and historical work/research focus includes: medical psychiatry, PTSD (post combat/deployment, civilian and neuroplasticity), substance misuse and evidence informed medicine.
Joel Lamoure has published over 150 journal articles, impact statements, textbooks and chapters on mental health, medications and their effect on patient quality and quantity of life. He is a peer reviewer for many journals and expert contributor.
