.

This is a noncompetitive Run/Walk/Roll event that serves to raise donations and awareness for Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS), a genetic connective tissue disorder. All proceeds will first go toward EDSAwareness to sponsor a goal of five hosted educational webinars, a total of $500. EDSAwareness also works with and helps to promote EDS support groups throughout the country.

After donating to EDSAwareness, all additional proceeds will then go toward the Center for Ehlers Danlos Syndrome Alliance, the only EDS organization registered with www.clinicaltrials.gov, associated with both the FDA and NIH, to conduct research.

The event will take place August 6th, 2016 in King Ferry, NY. The event will include a 1/2 Marathon run, a 5K run/walk and a 1 Mile run/walk/roll (for wheelchairs, no bikes). The annual Wheat Harvest Festival and parade will follow!
