University of Pittsburgh Occupational Therapy Students

otclassUniversity of Pittsburgh Occupational Therapy Students (Alexandra Ruth, Kristy Guthrie, Serafina Congeni, Sarah Arndt, and Kristen Bianco) presented to their OT department the diagnosis and significant treatment factors of Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome. With the help of the EDSawareness.com program, they were able to hand out flyers and brochures with important information regarding EDS as well as promote the importance of awareness to their classmates. They identified a crucial link between the patient population with Ehlers-Danlos and the role that Occupational Therapy practitioners can play with those with EDS through their presentation.”
