Job Posting: Webinar Coordinator (Part-Time, Remote)

Compensation: $500 USD per webinar episode
Duration: One year (with funding secured for 2025), possibly longer if further funding permits.
About Us
Chronic Pain Partners is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting individuals with Ehlers-Danlos Syndromes (EDS), their caregivers, and healthcare professionals. Since 2011, we have served as a trusted resource, offering education, support, and advocacy through local support groups, live webinars, CME programs, and a wide range of digital resources such as articles, guides, and videos.

Position Overview
We are seeking a Webinar Coordinator to manage and relaunch our webinar series, beginning with bi-monthly webinars in early 2025 and transitioning to monthly events later on. This role requires someone who is organized, tech-savvy, and passionate about delivering high-quality, accessible content to our audience.
Key Responsibilities
Pre-Webinar Tasks:
- Identify, recruit, and coordinate with expert speakers (in collaboration with the media team).
- Collaborate with the CEO (John Ferman) and media team lead (Karina Sturm) to brief speakers on content and expectations.
- Write engaging webinar announcements for newsletters and social media.
- Ensure all technical aspects are planned, including platform setup and accessibility needs.
During the Webinar:
- Host and facilitate the live webinar, introducing speakers and managing Q&A sessions.
- Monitor and address technical issues, ensuring smooth delivery with optimal audio and video quality.
Post-Webinar Tasks:
- Edit webinar recordings for distribution.
- Fully caption the webinar for accessibility compliance.
- Upload the final version to relevant platforms (website, social media, and YouTube).
Qualifications
Experience:
- Previous experience hosting or coordinating webinars or online events.
- Familiarity with video editing and captioning tools.
Skills:
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
- Proficiency with webinar platforms and video editing software.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.

Compensation
The role pays $500 per webinar episode. Funding is secured for 2025, with the potential for continuation based on funding and performance.
