About Our Speaker

Dr. Anne Maitland is a board-certified allergist and immunologist. She was included among New York’s Super Doctors in 2011 and was named one of America’s Top 21 Women Doctors by Lifescript.com in 2009. She serves as Medical Director of the Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome Center at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) and is an Associate Professor of Medicine. Her work includes clinical care, research, and education focused on immune-mediated disorders.
