⦁ Dr. Gilmer is a pediatric neurosurgeon at the Michigan Head & Spine Institute and Chief of Pediatric Neurosurgery at Beaumont Hospitals in the Detroit area.
⦁ She is an Associate Professor of Neurosurgery at Oakland University, William Beaumont School of Medicine in Rochester, MI.
⦁ Dr. Gilmer specializes in adult and pediatric Chiari malformation decompression and peripheral nerve surgery.
⦁ She also has special interest in hydrocephalus, tethered cord, neuro-oncology, and craniofacial reconstruction.
⦁ She has certifications in Neurological Surgery and Pediatric Neurological Surgery.
⦁ She received the HOUR Detroit Top Doctors award from 2004 – 2014.
