Radiographic proposed measurements

Chart of radiograph measurements associated with healthy patients listed by the modality that was used when the measurement was taken. The study shows that only clivo-axial angle (CXA), hard palate to C1 vertebra (HPC1), and hard palate to C2 vertebra (HPC2) were the most consistent, suggesting their potential as reliable and precise markers for diagnosing craniocervical instability. The ranges below are listed in order of extension x-ray, flexion x-ray, neutral x-ray, and supine CT scan. clivo-axial angle: 151.02-187.58, 130.88-180.16, 135.29-179.37, 134.39-181.95 hard palate to C1 vertebra: 38.72-66.88, 26.62-57.42, 30.08-57.75, 32.61-61.61 hard palate to C2 vertebra: 62.52-101.24, 46.99-86.23, 53.19-92.83, 52.50-79.10 atlanto-dental interval: 0.06-2.82, 0.25-2.89, 0.13-2.45, 0.08-2.18 basion-axis interval: 0.82-11.18, 1.23-13.63, 1.97-11.21, 0.72-10.20 basion-dens interval: 1.96-12.88, 1.43-9.87, 1.17-11.45, 0.56-10.20 perpendicular basion to the inferior aspect of C2: 0.39-7.23, 1.07-9.79, 0.87-7.95, 0.62-7.46
