Braces
Wrist instability is a very common problem for EDSers. I need support while I’m using my computer or driving long distances. Stabilizing my wrist can prevent dislocations from lifting or carrying items. Bracing reduces pressure on my wrist when I experience “torque” – a result of sideways or twisting movements. Keeping my wrist in a straight and still position can reduce pain due to dislocated wrist bones. There are many bracing options. I found that this fully adjustable wrist wrap can help reduce this stress on my wrist. It is an inexpensive option for resting the wrist after it has been used too much. It has a metal piece that keeps my wrist in a neutral position. You might find that this option could be the answer to your painful problem.

Knee Support Brace
Many EDSers are having problems with their knees. They need that extra support, particularly when they are walking or standing for long periods. It is important that they stabilize the knee joint properly. Some EDSers need support all the time; others may need it only when they leave the home, take walks, travel or attend a social event. There are a variety of knee brace options. Some EDSers like this version because it is supportive, breathable and extremely comfortable. It also looks attractive!
