Hi Everyone,<\/u><\/u><\/span><\/div>\n

I have been asked to lead the local Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome Support Group of Greater Kansas City.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The meeting details are below.\u00a0\u00a0 I understand that due to medical issues sometimes people will not be able to attend.\u00a0\u00a0 I am planning to have some type of remote access to the meetings.<\/u><\/u><\/span><\/div>\n
\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n
My hope for the Support Group is that we will become a community that provides education, resources, fellowship, and most important a place where you feel understood and accepted.\u00a0 I ask that whatever personal information that is shared within a meeting not be discussed outside of the meeting.<\/u><\/u><\/span><\/div>\n
\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n
I believe in the servant leadership model.\u00a0\u00a0 I want to know what your needs are so that we can work together to address them, if possible.\u00a0\u00a0 I am asking everyone to think about what his\/her gifts are and to be willing to utilize the gifts for the good of the group.\u00a0\u00a0 Always remember that the little things are big things (i.e., a smile, words of encouragement).<\/u><\/u><\/span><\/div>\n

Please, be aware that I do not have EDS.\u00a0\u00a0 My daughter, Sydney has EDS-HT.\u00a0\u00a0<\/u><\/u><\/span><\/div>\n

Building C is the Brown building, located at the corner of 137th<\/sup>\u00a0<\/span>and Roe.\u00a0 Park on the Roe side of the building and come in the double doors on the Roe side.\u00a0 Take first hall on the right.\u00a0 Room C133\u00a0will be the 2nd<\/sup>\u00a0<\/span>room on the left, right across from the water fountain and restrooms.<\/span> Room C133 is the closest to the door, has easy accessibility for those in wheelchairs, and has Wi-Fi availability, on the east (Roe) side of Building C.<\/span><\/u><\/u><\/div>\n
