VERMILLION COUNTY, Ind. (WTHI) –

“It’s a father daughter dance, to benefit a worthy cause.

News 10 recently introduced you to a little girl named Amelia Gibson.

She’s living with a connective tissue disorder called Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome.

Amelia continues her mission to help others by putting together care packages for those forced to stay in the hospital.

Now, it’s time to forget about the hospital stays and tissue disorders, as organizers are putting together an Enchanted Frozen Ball.

“We are very excited to be able to provide, to put on this fundraiser. Not only to give the fathers and daughters a special event to come to and make memories at, but also to help aid in research for Ehlers-Danlos,” Amelia’s mother Brandy said.

Tickets can be purchased this Friday at the South Vermillion boys basketball game.

They are $50 for each father daughter combo, and will not be sold at the door on the night of the event.

All proceeds will benefit Ehlers-Danlos research.”
