Petition in Ireland: Ehlers-Danlos “Treatment Abroad Scheme”

Jordan3Hello, my name is Jordan Egan, I’m 16 years old and I live in Ireland. I have Ehlers Danlos Syndrome and other associated conditions, Irish EDS patients have no access doctors that are familiar with the condition in Ireland and because of this many people have to travel to London for treatment. The Irish health service will not fund this trips and people end up paying thousands of pounds on consultants fees.

I have written a petition asking the Irish government to fund these trips through the Treatment Abroad Scheme and also to set up a Hypermobility Unit in Ireland. I would really appreciate it if you could share the link to this petition on your page to try get as many online signatures as possible!
Thank you,
Jordan Egan
