Joint Support Group Meeting of the Ehlers-Danlos and CTD New England/Massachusetts Support Group and the MA Chapter of the Marfan Foundation
When: Sunday-March 15th 2020 -1 PM to 4:00 PM
Where: Children’s Hospital in Waltham-9 Hope Avenue-Deveber Conference Room-located on the Lower Level.
-On March 15th, we will hold our scheduled Joint Support Group Meeting of the Ehlers-Danlos New England/Massachusetts Support Group and the MA Chapter of the Marfan Foundation.
After some brief updates on past and upcoming meetings/events (including conferences), we will discuss the status of direct research projects and awareness initiatives around the world. Once we have concluded this portion of our meeting, we are going to take a break. (around 1:30 PM)
After the break, we will have our 11th ‘Share n Care’ program which will feature two special guests, Michael Callahan who is heading the Chase for a Cure Golf Tournament on April 27th at the Valley Country Club in Warwick, RI and Katryna Kolton from Dazzle Splints who will not only be talking about the various types of hand splints she makes but also she and a colleague will actually be making splints for members during our meeting.
After our “Share-n-Care’, we will take another short break. (around 2:45) Following our 2nd break, we will have plenty of time for our general session to discuss any topics our members wish to engage in.
Our meeting is a wonderful opportunity to meet and talk with one another, share experiences and support one another, and have the opportunity to learn more about what is going on in the medical and research community.
