⦁ He is a distinguished professor of medicine and pediatrics in the University of Toledo College of Medicine and has been a faculty member of the University of Toledo since 1988.

Very interested in this webinar having hyperadrenergic POTS and gotten sicker from the specialists I’ve seen (including a world-renowned doc who was kind and could figure out why treatments were having opposite effect). Have been sick for over 6 years with PoTs. My new doctor has diagnosed me with an autoimmune disease. Once my disease is in active mode, it aggravates my PoTs. Vicious cycle.
Hi Dr. Grubb. Is there a correlation between SERPING1 gene mutations like alpha-1 antitrypsin deficiency or hereditary angioedema and dysautonomia/NCS? How often are amyloid deposition diseases seen in dysautonomia patients? Could dysautonomia patients have various forms of muscular dystrophy mimicking EDS? I have subluxations but an otherwise low Beighton score. (I have NCS and an AATD carrier state. My grandmother had probable pelvic limb girdle muscular dystrophy. My father has amyloidosis and monoclonal gammopathy of undetermined significance). Thank you, Emily H.

I have POTS and Vasovagel Syncope. I also had a Pacemaker installed when I was 33 (2011). I am now 44. Been passing out since I was 28. Anywho, I live in southern Ohio in Lawrence County. I would LOVE to meet Dr. Grubb in person. I have had an appt before with him but was unable to make it. I underatand that there is a 1 year waiting list. My only issue of this is getting there. I don’t have a reliable vehicle to get there. Any suggestions? Thanks!
